What a Thistlethwaite measure runs into

Shape and proportion come first. The openings on a gas boom Sheridan house are tall and narrow with high heads, there are transoms over doors, and any Craftsman element brings banded groups of units sitting shoulder to shoulder under one head. There is no arched production transom anywhere in these plats and no great room glass, because Sheridan built only 116 units across the whole of 1980 to 1999 and the elliptical vocabulary of that era never arrived. A tall narrow opening changes the shade math. Schools are Sheridan Community Schools, a corporation separate from Westfield Washington and Carmel Clay. The 1912 Carnegie library and Biddle Memorial Park are minutes away in a town of 2.14 square miles.
